South Pattaya Big C Gold Shop robbery

PATTAYA:--On Saturday afternoon Police Colonel Suwan, the Pattaya Police Chief, rushed to Big C in South Pattaya to investigate reports of a robbery from a Gold Shop situated inside the Shopping Center.

The incident, which was caught on their CCTV system, took place at the Yawalat Bangkok Gold Shop on the ground floor of the Big C Supercenter on the Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya.

Khun Pimpison aged 23 was the assistant who served the suspect, thought to be aged in his mid-twenties. The man claimed he wanted to buy a gold necklace but could not decide which of three necklaces he wanted so asked to see them up-close.

However, the man then asked to see two more necklaces which were inside a cabinet behind the assistant, who turned around to take out the two necklaces when the suspect grabbed the three necklaces in-front of him and fled.
