(If you have never purchased a car in Thailand, this is the process. The car is registered in Pattaya but has a Bangkok number plate. This is not unusual in Thailand. To purchase it, the car needs to be inspected at the Bangkok car registry where its VIN number will be confirmed by the registry. After this a transfer fee of around 2900BHT needs to be paid. On completion the BLUE BOOK will be changed into your name and address and then the car is legally yours. AXA Class 1 insurance is fully transferable)
