I've managed to drop my samsung note 10.1 face down and the screen has splintered. The device works fine but I need a new screen. Does anyone know where to get a screen replacement in bangkok, am near siam but can get on bts etc to get it fixed. Need personal recommendations please.

I'm not a Samsung owner but having used the MBK phone repair shops numerous times, I remember one telling me how expensive it is to replace a Samsung screen compared to an iPhone one. I was bemoaning having to pay 1500 baht for an iPhone 4 LCD screen. In short, Samsung phones must be No. 1 in sales and therefore repairable everywhere in MBK. 4th floor.

There is a certain road in Bangkok with a whole bunch of shops on either side of the road that sell nothing but phone spares (especially screens). However I can not remember exactly where it is. I think it was a few KM from koh san towards the middle of town. You might have some luck asking a taxi driver, as it is hard to miss if you know the area.
