my opera going down (take another hit)

Featured Replies

Yes Opera really seem to be doing some really stupid

things lately, don't know why they had to change stuff,

Opera 12.16 is working very well for me and will keep

using it until it does not work anymore, then don't know

what I will use, but have CoMoDo dragon as secondary

browser,so may just use that.

Change is not always good

just the tip of the iceberg. all sorts of outrageous nonsense is going on. i think (expletive deleted) have decided if they cant spy on everyone that they are no going to play any more and are taking their ball home.

Might have found a replacement for dear old Opera, Maxthon cloud browser seems

to have all the things that the old Opera had.

I was a long-time Opera user but switched to Chrome once they removed Opera Sync from the mobile browsers, which made it basically useless for me.

I have been able to get all the best features of Opera on Chrome via extensions - Speed Dial, Notes, etc. You should look into it. It is vastly superior to others IMO, much more widely supported across sites and very fast. Maxthon is an extremely minor player in the game, you will have compatibility issues for sure.

Nothing beats a bit of Pavarotti.
