Hi y'all whats the position asbout wanting to be able to play Europeen music as a musician in bar/restaurants in Bangkok

What kind of work permit is needed.

Ive searched the web and not come up with anything on this specific topic.

Someone told me there is a type "M" visa? for musicians???

No such thing as a musicians visa, you need a b visa and a work permit.

First and foremost, you must be a Good Entertainer, not just a Good Musicain... Come to Bangkok, go out to the various Hotels / Venues that currently employe Farang Musicians and network... Get to know some ot them and if you are good enough they will introduce you to others... Don't plan on getting rich playing here, it is hard to just find a decent gig, let alone make much money... Most hotels give out 3 to 6 month contracts, so it may take some time to find the right situation...
