Ticket prices

Featured Replies

Okay... so I have to go back to LA for Christmas and family there. I have checked the usual sites and find good fares through Kayak.com on China Eastern Air with 1-stop over (for 6 hrs) for $894 round trip (with taxes included) but the fact is that it leaves at 0055 hrs. Does anyone out there know a different site I should visit that offers better prices? I was thinking maybe a Thai site? I know it might be dodgy but figure it is worth a try and ask.

Thanks.

You might want to try travelling out of Hong Kong as it is a central hub, often get better prices even though you have the bkk -hk leg to add.

That's a great price, especially considering the time of year. Long layover, but not too bad. I normally spend a few extra bucks to avoid the long layovers.

on longer layovers such as 5-7 hours, I try to venture outside if there are no Visa problems for the layover port.

you might find it enjoying, try some googling on the airport & area of layover.

I have found http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ the best. This is the basis for many other search and travel sites.

I agree....great price!!! I fly the BKK/SFO route because I found that originating out of Bangkok was always cheaper ....but that fare you got...its as good as any I've seen....Go for it!
