You’re barely hiding your racism. It starts with affiliating individuals in “groups,” then stereotyping those groups, and then imposing value judgments, which is precisely what you’re doing. In your post on cultures, you say that some cultures are simply better than others -- using the example of Boeing 747s (white people?) and grass skirts (Africans, maybe?). (And you make no sense here -- jet airplanes contribute significantly to global climate change and the destruction of habitats, whereas grass skirts have no environmental impact whatsoever. Guess it depends on how you define “better.”) As for the fellow in the video, he is creep for sure, and lacking any social skills, and whether the Thai woman with the backward-facing swastika on her ankle is aware of its meaning or not is immaterial. But, however wrongly, he is loudly protesting what he thinks is a symbol of Nazism. What did Nazism do again; what did it turn Europe into? A giant oven? What “culture” does it come from? White culture, which birthed pogroms and the Holocaust, not grass-skirted culture, right? Which is better again? You tell me. Not only is your racism showing, but you’ve got it pretty much backward.
