need advice

My gf is Filipina with Non B Visa(no work permit) multiple entries, since 3 years doing every 90 days border run/land to Cambodia with no issues, no questions ask - just cross the border and get another 90 days without any fees. Today the immigration mad trouble and ask for THB 1.000 for extension.- normally for Asian people there is no fee at all on border runs....

Is there any new rule? Has somebody else had similar experiences? The visa run company just said since 2 month everyone has to provide complete documents to the immigration OR pay THB 1.000 under the table......

There is no rule change and there is no providing full documents. Although they might be interested in if she has a work permit or not and as she has not what she is doing in Thailand on a non-B without a WP. They would suspect she is working illegally.

she is not working here - she is a registered share holder from a Thai company and is living in Thailand for 3 years. Therefore she entitled to get business visa e.g. to Europe - we made this construct to be able to travel/get visa from Thailand to avoid the Manila embassies. Then in Europe we applied for the visa for Thailand non B to avoid 30 days border runs or ED Visa and it worked great so far......

Just today the immigration made trouble as she couldn't provide any documents as she never needed in the past

Perhaps she should use a different border crossing. Or check for flights about 90 days from now on airasia.com for a flight out to KL and back.

then i would prefer to keep paying the THB 1.000 under the table + the THB 800 vor the van/border run

Just would like to hear if there have been similar expieriences
