Anti-government thugs again attack a journalist.

Not just Nick, now another one.

And they claim they are peaceful and non-violent.

Where is your proof of your accusation that it was the students who did this. Oh! Wait! You have a network of friends....(red friends) reporting to you impartially, right? cheesy.gif

It might have been your wee friends ......

If you really want to boost your post count, start putting up hard facts - and evidence. Otherwise please be so good as to stop spreading unsubstantiated kak.coffee1.gif

More violence is coming from the anti-government Suthep mobs.........

I saw many students at Ramkhamhaeng University preparing themselves with wooden boards, sticks and rocks for clashes with Red shirts. (mp)

Hopefully the police catch the shooters.

This is unacceptable.

Suthep must call off all the protests immediately.

If they did, what would you do. No way Suthep is backing down now, same as Thida and her people.

Thailand is very close to making the choice either to go down the path of a Khmer Rouge-like Red swarm or remaining a relatively industrialized modern nation.

Thailand is very close to remaining a Democracy - or letting a few idiots overrun the country and turn it into a communist state controlled by the aristocracy with no elections and no hope.

Thailand is very close to performing a great magic- act and vanish into its own @$$hole!

I absolutely believe there is mayham going on outside that stadium, although I am quiet sure it is hard to tell, who draw first blood...neither do I care!

I guess, it will be a very hot night and an even hotter sunday!

I fear the worst and really don't care who did what first and who did what to retaliate.

It is a crying shame!

Suthep's "students" who expressed their opinion this evening whistling.gif

Comments from the people looking at this picture is that... they must not have been very good students for sure... still not graduated at that age.
Others of course have a tendency to think that there thugs are just drug addicts recruited by Suthep to help him get rid of the whole Thaksin regime rolleyes.gif

It is an utter disgrace.

The reds have been in the stadium for many days now. No trouble.

The anti-government thugs on their TV and Radio stations tell their thugs to get near the stadium today and cause violence - and it happens.

Suthep you should call off your protests and apologize to the Thai people - then go to your Criminal Court appointment on the 12th of December for the murder charges against you, and Abhisit.

AP is reporting that students were "waylaying and beating people they suspected were going to the rally"

Yes, students like in the photo, with whistles round their neck and violence on their mind ?

At least the world now is getting told the true story of who are the bad guys - who are the violent thugs.

Such mature and erudite posting.... especially from one who evidently has such medical skills as to suggest they are drug addicts from this photo.

Drop them in the stadium, in the middle?? Who the heck are you? La Tricoteuse? bah.gif

There was just an explosion right near the entrance to the stadium

Followed by lots of cheering and yelling and a plume of dark smoke

Then a few ambulance went by ...

Red means war ... they came for it ... and got it

Stay safe mate.

Any way you can substantiate any of Magenta2013 insane claims that it is all coming from the students including shooting themselves as a form of propaganda?

After all.... you are our 'man on the ground' as opposed to this huge network of 'friends' that magenta2013 seems to have placed in key monitoring locations around Thailand.

Cheers ... will do

Not possible to say who is shooting who or who started it. Ramkam was quiet all week with a few thousand reds in the stadium wit the nightly speeches and the sounds of the vezuvelas cold be heard. At 3.30pm today thousands of reds poured into the area blocking ramkam ave

as well as ramkam soi 24. They also had thousands coming in via Pattanakarn. They came in loud and boisterous blowing horns and a few on the bull horns. The hot spot now is right at the gates to the stadium, if anyone is saying who shot first they are just guessing ... unless they were the shooter. If they did not know they were entering a lions den then they have not been paying attention or they were lied to

1. Don't you know the stadium and Univ are next door?

2. Based on an earlier eyewitness in this thread it started with 30 red shirts going to the Univ, not the other way around.

Now all of those naive people who supported the anti-government street protests without using their brain even a minute will witness the result of this absurdity.

A 5year old child could see that starting a new round of protests was not at all a solution.
To me, the worst is that farangs who consider themselves so highly, so "educated" and so much smarter than the people around them, fell into the ridiculous trap of supporting, once more, street protests.

The only way out is that both sides talk to each other. Now it seems to be a bit late, so let's watch some "students" defend Suthep's insanity. Humanity is really not that smart.

A real test............. will the Army stop Suthep ? or will the Army show yet again they are totally run by the Yellows.

If the Army fails tomorrow then there is a need for total reform of the Army - to be run by civilians - no more Army people in control and appointed leaders anymore. Just like Suthep wants to do with the Police. Army reform before Police reform if they fail to protect government offices tomorrow.

#Thailand army chief Gen. Prayuth reportedly ordering soldiers to guard gov't offices Sunday but not get involved in police actions.

From source: Govt requested 19 companies of troops. 3 for Govt House, 2 for Suvarnbhumi, 2 for Don Muang, rest for Channels 5, 9, and NBT

Just saw first ambulance leave the front of the stadium and wizz down soi 24 towards Ramkam ave.

Occupants allegence unknown

Lights and sirens blazing ...

Very curious that cars and taxis are still allowed to turn onto ran soi 24 from Ramkam ave ...

Surely this Soi should be closed to all but EMS and police ... but hey TIT

No no no, don't misunderstand. I am not a doctor.

I was just quoting, as I wrote above, a typical comment from the people who saw this picture in the Thai language news source from where it is taken.

To me these charming guys indeed could be well behaved university students who concentrate hard on their study in order to quickly graduate and become respected members of the Thai society and use their newly acquired knowledge to do everything they can to help fellow citizens in their hardship and make so that Thailand becomes the greatest country in the world, full of love and spirituality.

Ok, I may exaggerate a bit, but I am sure you prefer this version biggrin.png
