Getting Thai Tourist Visa in Vietnam HCMC

Hi,

My thai visa will expire on 6th January 2014.

I booked my ticket to Vietnam and will get my Thai Tourist Visa at HCMC,the problem is that I am arriving at HCMC on the 1st January 2014 which is a National Holiday and back on 5th January 2014 which is a Sunday, I am worry because I don't know if I will have enough time to apply the tourist visa.

Will I be able to get my visa done in 1 day as I will go to the consulate on Thursday 2 Januray 2014.

Anybody knows how long it takes for them to do the visa ?

You only have the 2nd and 3rd. I think they have next day service so you should be okay.

Not many reports for there but the one I found is apply morning of 1st day and pick up next afternoon.
