A thread about why the chicken crossed the road would make more sense.

I gave up self flagellation for lent, or 11 December 2013, which ever comes sooner, I decided instead to join a demolition derby team, same results but much more fun, out!

I repeat what I said last time. The baht has always gone up and down against GBP, and this is how it will always continue.

Nothing else to discuss.

May as well close the thread.

It is what it is!!!!!!!!! End of discussion!!

I was going to say why not just let them get on with it if they want to chat about something that you have no intention of getting involved in, but whoops - seems like I just compromised my own stance.

Sterling has legs.

Sterling has legs.

And my dog has 3 legs.

The exchange rate will be different tomorrow. Should we start a new thread then?

Well the pound seems to have dropped a little ,even with all the good news coming out of the country and the problems here. sorry about you dog EL Jefe ,have you tried giving him a false one?

...discussing the subject this time?

To what purpose? How many threads about the exchange rate are needed at one time?

So what's new about it , the way I see it, it's just same same Thai Baht to Sterling/UK pound....Just you wanting to start a new thread because last one got closed, you could have ressurected one of the many that are not closed but you thought you'd have one of your own...Newbies do it because they don't understand the search feature, but for older members to do it is IMO just childish and a kind of forum protest..,.

Hopefully, the more crap this thread generates that's not topic related, the sooner it will be closed and the sooner we'll all be better off.

I think it's gone down like a lead ballon anyway... just what it deserved IMO...

if you call facts cladded in irony with a pinch of sarcasm "derogatory" so be it.

I disagree with Naam on some things but that's just a normal thing with people in general.

But when it comes to FX re this thread, he's worth listening to. He has decades of experience worldwide making money on FX.

No offense intended, but he could take a lot of people to school on that subject.

Can someone just post something relevant to the debate at hand. Please treat me...

Your 1st post on the thread and you try to TICK us off for not debating the topic but post nothing of relevance yourself... Classic...:lol::lol:

Anyway the Baht is doing well it seems regardless of all the political mess of usual...

Hopefully, the more crap this thread generates that's not topic related, the sooner it will be closed and the sooner we'll all be better off.

eg like projecting sterling back to 43 baht 'soon'?

Sterling is doing OK, €UR is doing OK, USD is strong vs. Asian currencies and rather weak vs. GBP and €UR.

but... as far as opportunities to invest exist and yield to achieve USD is beating (hands down) GBP 100 times and €UR 20 times.

If that's what you think and you can make a case, go for it, personally I doubt it very much indeed.

Hello, moving to Thailand in April for at least a year on a visa.

Want to exchange a load of GBP at the best time. Probably should have done it before those elections were called, right? Anyway should I do it now, or do we think there is any chance it will get closer to 53 baht (or better) before April time? Or is it just guesswork. I don't want to get to April and be exchanging at 44 baht.
