Generic Xanax In Chaing Mai

Featured Replies

Hello

Does anyone know of any pharmacies that provide generix Xanaz (Aprazolam) these days ? They are expensive little items in my country. Last vist to BKK I got some, but won't be visiting there this time around.

Thanks in advance

There was a clinic of some sort we passed by last month, it's right next door to the Chiang Mai Thai guesthouse. They had, among other things advertised on their large sign, xanax=3bht alprazolam=1 bht and some others, all the way to Viagra and Methodone!

Methadone/Dolophine® is a restricted class II drug in Thailand, and only available from hospitals/clinics that have a sustantial drug abuse programme. Being in possesion of it illegally could get you some serious jail time, be careful.

what is the law regarding other well known drugs (that aren't used to get high)....

lipitor, prozac, viagra, vioxx, etc....

can these still be bought without a prescription in thailand?

I don't know about the others, but Vioxx should not be sold by anybody.Prolonged use heightens the risk of heart attacks. Most countries have taken it off the market.

It's not really a question of law UCS rather a question of sensibilities. Lipitor is primarily used in the reduction of body cholesterol, and should only be taken under doctors advice, self perscription can be dangerous. Similarly Prozac, which is probably the most popular anti depressant on the market today. Viagra/Cialis are a personal choice, but equally dangerous unless you have had an extensive medical. Side effects include nausia, dizzyness, headaches and a high risk of heart attack.

Vioxx is just plain dangerous, and as a NSAID has just about been withdrawn in western countries due to the high risk of heat attacks, similarly Celebrex is under scrutiny as an anti infamatory.

It's not expensive to go to a doctor in Thailand, and can save a host of medical problems due to self perscription.

As a p.s. If you are caught with a large quantity of Viagra or Cialis, it can constitute "dealing" and will incur a fine or jail or both, as recently seen in a case in Pattaya. Not the case with Lipitor.

MM,

is prozac really the most popular anti-depresant on the market?? always thought it would have been Zoloft by Pfizer. most used in the States from what i hear.

have them already. perhaps new prescription needed. :D

Oh Golly, sorry, didn't mean to imply willynilly usage, just that I saw their sign. I never went in, it looked dead by day.

Rrose.. 3 baht / 1 baht Xanax.... That can't be right. Even generic Xanaz (Alprazowhatever) would run 80-90 baht for 10.

Where is CHiang Mai Thai Guesthouse? Is that the newish boutique hotel style place?

Last time I needed Xanax for a long flight I just went to Lanna hospital, claimed fear of flying and got some free on my social insurance thingy.

Cheers,

Chanchao
