So I only need one combo drive.....I want to be able to play and burn discs from either computer. 2. So the 2 computers can mutually back up each other. Is this possible? How? Thanxalot!! I hope you have plenty of headache tablets my friend I think you ay well need them. The networking part is fairly straight forward you can use either a fixed cable/hub solution or wireless via a Apple Airport. You need to asign each a static IP address, enable file saring on both devices and possibly create local user acounts for cross login.\ Take a look at these How To's for detailed instructions... Networking PC and Mac Sharing files between XP and OS 10 As for sharing resources you will need a device that is supprted by both Mac and XP as well as support software. Thought about running XP on your iBook?
