Hi,

Just purchase a land. It has a large pond. Want to raise tilapia in it and grow azolla. I tried finding azolla in the streams, but with no success. Does anyone know where I can get azolla in Chiang Mai? Also, where can I buy tilapia fry in Chiang Mai?

You might wish to either asked this to be moved to the Farming Forum, or the Chiang Mai Forum.

Definitely have a look through the Farming forum ... re the tilapia fry.

The Thais pronounce it as Pla Nin.

One tip ... if you plan to raise them for eating ... consider getting a mono-sex purchase.

Grow out times from fry to marketable adult is usually a month or two either side of 9 months.
