December 20, 201312 yr They told me over the phone i need an appointment. i remember a few years ago walking in and taking care of it without one. If I just showed up and asked to have it done would they do it? I understand it might take longer, but i would prefer today or monday over the first available (Thursday). thanks in advance
December 20, 201312 yr You'll need to make the appointment, they won't let you in without one. I needed a simple notary public done a few months ago, nope, gotta make an appointment. To book an appointment: http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/acsappointment.html
December 20, 201312 yr Metisdead, Gave you some very important information, The process has change and if you do not mind wasting your time by going to the embassy, you need the appointment printout before they let you in to the Embassy, without the appointment you will not be allowed entrance,. I just had one last week and the whole process took about 45 mins. Cheers
December 20, 201312 yr Author thanks for the updated info. i now have an appointment for Thursday which is not that far off, but today would have been nice
December 20, 201312 yr I'm not sure what it takes to be licensed as a notary public, but I would think if someone here could go back and get it done, then legally do it here, it would do extremely well as a business.
December 20, 201312 yr Make your appointment online. it is easy. Need to plan ahead a little, but it makes the whole process go faster.
