Hi I will be in Thailand for 20 wonderful days in January. I plan to hang out in Bkk, Phuket & CM. I was going to squeeze in a few days in Bali but may save that for another trip.

I have been to Thailand 8 to 10 times. My plan for this trip is to enjoy some time at the beach and in the mountains. While also enjoy the city life in BKK. I may possibly make my first trip to Pattaya.

I will spend time plenty of time in the go gos but would also like to find a nice friendly bar, in each location, that offer a more relaxed atmosphere. Perhaps a place that offers easy listening, classic rock or country music. Either live music or even karaoke. I would prefer something in doors.

I am an American 52 years old if that matters. In Bkk I will be staying somewhere along Suk. Most likely near Nana. I Have not made hotel reservations yet but will try to get something in the main areas of Phuket and C M as well.

So if you know of any cool bars where a guy can relax I would love to hear your suggestions.

Check Inn between Soi 5 and 7 in Bangkok.

Soi 11 In SUK have some nice chill bars, specially the Q Bar (also known for the Grey Goose sign)

In Phuket You can choose Patong and the Seduction Beach Club's chill area named BLOW.

Soi 6 in Suk , has a few good hotels , good price too

Just walk in . check the price

Soi 7 is good for bars and hangin out
