Good points and good things Thailand has given me.

Featured Replies

Ask me specific things,I will honestly reply truthfully.

And watch as each positive thing I say gets picked apart by half the posters.

One positive,to begin, the food vendor downstairs cooks all kinds of stuff, cheap and amazing.

Going down in a few minutes.

Another, the shopping malls kill Australia's,the smallest malls here are better then our biggest.

Easily pleased then.

"No shame,no morals" ?

He's downstairs buying food now.

Hey Wallawalla. Now is where you come in and tell the posters to stay on topic and talk about the good things in Thailand instead of trying to turn it into another bash Thailand thread.

He's downstairs buying food now.

And we'll get an update tomorrow on how he passed it.

As always the food was awesome,as I said the posters here would shred positive posts, that's why there are negative posts, positive ones in the past have not had a response.

Point proven, thanks for making it easy.

Have you stayed there, surprised as it was quite a nice place.

Did you have a negative experience there, besides the 400bht breakfast, stayed away from that, was a pretty cool place.

I will absolutely bash negative aspects when deserving,I will praise the many good points to.

I know Koh Chang pretty well, I think.

Have I stayed there, yes. Was it negative, no. Was it awesome and sweet? no, it was good, but there are plenty cooler and better spots on KC. Yes, the breakfast sucks, nearly everyone complains about that and the price.

Could you recommend a good place,I made a post before I came and received no responses whatsoever.

What sort of budget are you looking for, and what do you like doing?

The prob with The Mercure really is the location, although if with a car not a problem. The beach also is not great. I actually live 5 minutes from there. I personally think there are better places. Drop me a PM

I understand that. I was talking about this thread which is good points and good things Thailand has given me. Negative aspects would be off topic unless you meant the thread as a faux positive thread which I'm sure you will turn it into shortly.

I had a guy in a van waiting outside on call the whole time so transport was ok,his driving scared the hell out of me though.

Wife and children, one ten the other one, just a relaxing beachfront place,no partying for us.

Took the family to ancient city, awesome place for a semi pro photographer.

The creator lek done a fantastic job on this place, will go again in the future.

Don't know what others think but I recommend it.

Living here in Thailand for extended periods for over two decades has afforded me the perspective and the views through which to deconstruct and to analyze my home country and others.

Living here is remarkably easy as well as much less boring and intrusive than the Old Country.

I feel best of all when I am coming and going from my home state to this place.

Airport buzz.

There is a lot to do here, one thing I like is the amount of things here for children, the shopping malls cater well to the children.

Not a great deal in oz for kids.
