I think it's dreadful but all things must pass so when is it gone please?

Couldn't be soon enough for me! What's up with those idiots, they set up the stall so that nobody can pass. How do they expect to sell anything? The cops allow it because,of tea money, but they leave no room for shoppers or walkers. It's really disgusting. Beach road is really a turnoff to tourists, leaves a bad impression.

I don't go to Beach Road but I know many others do. I just rolled onto Beach for the first time in months and saw the vendor tents yesterday. Abominable!

There will be some music events or Chinese New Year or something as an excuse for another beach road market . As if there aren't enough retail activities without crowding beach Road with stalls all selling the same kind of things. And then right outside Royal Garden Plaza they even spread their crap all over the pavement and if you don't watch carefully, you could end up stepping on some remote control toy truck.

As has been said, today they were packing up. Beach road was as busy as ever.

Probably no seating.

Benches would take away valuable space, less room for tent city, that will be constructed there once a months or so.
