I am really getting tired reading stories abouth drunk people, getting drunk and having some problems in the early hours, just before the sun gets up.

Do they act the same in their own country or on hollydays in other country's ?

Or is it only in some asian country's ?

In my opinion. one only get's what he is looking for !

Start using your brain, even on hollyday !!!

Yes it does, Australian and British media full of stories of drunken bad behaviour, sexual assaults and violence, in those countries, including taxi drivers taking advantage of drunk women

some of the posters are really showing their demented way of thinking on this. A drunk girl is not fair game and getting raped is not "fishy". How many of you idiots drink in excess and get drunk, how would you like to wake up with your bum in the air naked and very sore, bet you wouldnt laugh at that. Rape is not funny nor is it open game for you crettins or do you think this is all Thailand is, one big sex hole for deviots like yourselves, you and your way of thinking are pathetic.

Any young blond woman should be very careful here, much more than most of them are aware of.

Many Asian men are obsessed with blond girls as all the local girls have black hair(in case you guys haven't noticed, he-he).

YES indeed the deviated wee dark ones they love a Blondie don't they --- There eyes near glaze over when they see somebodies pretty blonde mrs downright dangerous take your girl to Thailand is she is golden blonde ( still---- most smart men would never take a woman their anyway) --be like taking a sandwich to a restaurant ????? - i mean why would you bother ?????

Something is very "fishy" with this story....sounds like a night out,

lots of drinking and sex, than she had second thoughts and wants

to cry rape......drunk at 3 AM.......drinking with strangers.....Yea, there

is a lot more to this.........

From what I see most Russians look down on Thais as degenerate low life's, so can't imagine a girl wanting to go for a drink with a mo'cy unless he flashes his pearly whites and she thought he was Brad Pitt in a drunken coma.

I have Russian friends here and none have ever heard of any one of them going drinking with a motorcycle taxi driver.

No different from the girls in your town. So don't eat the police 'conclusion' hook, line and sinker' unless you are a gullible fool.

Actually your wrong you know, i lived with Russians for ages - they don't actually look down on the Thais they somewhat have trouble more believing what they see in the Thai culture))) it sends them into a spin ( corruption to burn and everybody and ever altercation is either crooked, or bought and sold --Not all Russkies come from, Moscow ))) some actually come from tiny villages are are brought up honest)) - Thailand blows them away !!( i'm an Aussie i been going & living in Thailand since 2003 - it still shocks the hell out of me --- with every trip !! Gross capitol corruption en masse))) - it's a hard thing to get used too!

This is what guys and girls in their 20s do back in there home countries, 3am is not early hour, it is late, and usually after clubs closing the after parties and fun continues, usually then people hook up

Ive seen this happen, at bali Hai as well, Thai guys seem to think a camotose woman is fair game, or some of them do anyway. What the trill is in molesting an unconscious woman I dont know but having translated a small amount of Thai porn it seems to be a common Thai fantasy.

Russian girl is every Thai guys ultimate fantasy, probably makes no difference what state she's in

Thai men usually pay 100 bucks for short time with such a" blonde girl" from Russia. That's what many of them ( never said all!) are doing here.

Thai man generally speaking don't even know where they're coming from.

Selling their bodies, flying in from Moscow through U- Tapao airport and it seems that the Russians do have their own Immigration in Thailand. Not just the Mafia.

Or is it part of the package? Please make your own research. I'm not "making this up", now.-wai2.gif

It must be very frustrating for Russian guys, who come here with families to walk around Pattaya after dark, so many temptations, but wife/gf is never letting him out of sight. Imagine 2 weeks under palm trees, first time abroad, and not just abroad, in Pattaya :D

the poor guys fly back home after 2 weeks without a single hook up.

You're missing the point, which is that rape can never be excused but people should also not act recklessly. If I, as an obvious westerner, walked down the main street of Fallujah, do you think it's wise? Do you think nothing will happen to me? And if something did happen to me, wouldn't you say I'd been acting recklessly and that I bore a portion of responsibility? Back when American and Brit contractors were being kidnapped and murdered in Iraq, the media and public were appropriately outraged but also assigned a degree of responsibility to them for putting themselves in harm's way. But we seem to draw a special circle around the crime of rape because it's so politicised. We are "not allowed" to be critical of the woman who clearly puts herself in harm's way (who acts recklessly or stupidly) because that's considered 'blaming the victim'. Well, we do extend some degree of blame to victims of other crimes, and there's no logical reason why rape should be treated any differently on this count from any other crime.

Are you actually equating a mercenary who is willing to kill and maim for money with people who go on holiday to let their hair down for a couple of weeks.

Is your thinking really that twisted?

Another report with no info. Let's not "hang em high" yet until more details are provided.

With all of these new "girl was raped by Thai" reports it is hard to guess what is true and what is not true.

Anywhere in the world a girl goes and gets drunk at 3:00am and decides to hang out with locals (especially in a developing country like Thailand) they are asking for it. I know it's not nice to say but...........

I don't understand how "after" getting raped she asked her "compatriots" to drive her home? Were they watching?

"With all of these new "girl was raped by Thai" reports it is hard to guess what is true and what is not true."

All these new reports? Which ones constitue "all"?

"Anywhere in the world a girl goes and gets drunk at 3:00am and decides to hang out with locals (especially in a developing country like Thailand) they are asking for it. I know it's not nice to say but..........."

You are right, it is not a nice thing to say and saying it confirms that you are a complete <deleted>.

"I don't understand how "after" getting raped she asked her "compatriots" to drive her home? Were they watching?"

You really are thick, aren't you, perhaps she called them for assistance?

I have often wondered about the wisdom of immediately wanting to send a traumatised girl to the hospital to be prodded and poked intimately.

That and language issues must compound their stress.

Is just something that just doesn't happen in Russia and they feel unconcerned when they get themselves into these risky situations.

I suppose the opportunity to be scantily dressed doesn't arise so often there......

What is this with young Russian and Swedish girls getting drunk and raped?

New trend? Or cry Wolf?

Or maybe the two recent cases don't make a trend. This kind of thing, drunk girls being raped isn't new. Maybe reported more, or the only two made news worthy.

Murders happen a lot, but we only read about it if the media thinks it will sell.

Unfortunately, being drunk never looks good and is irresponsible ( not an excuse for the rapist) My question is, where are their friends?

Not at all. You just need to look at things more objectively. I will use a more generic example to avoid going too far off topic. Imagine you drove your Mercedes to an urban area of your home country, put a pricey laptop computer in the back seat, and left the car unlocked. If someone stole your computer, would you not say you bore some responsibility for acting heedlessly? (After all, it may not have happened if you had locked your car, and the 'reasonable man' assumption is that you would do so before walking away). That doesn't absolve the criminals of responsibility, of course; in fact, their responsibility is undiminished. But you put yourself in harm's way through your poor judgement and recklessness (monetary harm in this instance). As in this case, we don't seem to have any problem apportioning a degree of blame 'to the victim' for most other crimes when the circumstances dictate, but rape is highly politicised in western legal systems, and so we have made such attributions 'off-limits'. I'm not sure I can think of any other crimes for which there is such a boundary.

BTW, In my previous example, I was not referring to 'mercenaries', but to civilian contractors hired in the reconstruction of Iraq .. basically, regular working guys lured by the promise of big money.

Just more naive Prussian tourists. Crying wolf would get you nowhere here.

Big problem with Thailand always been the same --Thais should be bending over backwards to ''care for the tourist '' not rob it or scam it ! because without mister/ miss tourist --Thailand has a huge percentage of Zero!!!! - this is a fact )))) In retrospect the mayor should be racing out to greet every plane load ---- groveling / bowing and scraping)))) my word they should be !- the tarts from elsewhere --should be looked after 24/ 7 --then the tourist tells all their friends its a lovely place ))) and they all return for more holidays !!!! --i mean derr!!!!!!!! Are the Thais to silly to see that ?????

She wasn't "hanging out". She was drunk and getting what she thought was the local version of a taxi.

Presumably after getting raped, she managed to find her friends, who then helped her.

Not really all that difficult to understand.
