SeaVisionBurma Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 AirAsia increases Mekong Region services From TTR Weekly by Wanwisa Ngamsangchaikit BANGKOK, 7 January 2014: AirAsia will increase flights to Yangon and Siem Reap later this month to strengthen its Mekong Region network. The airline will add flights on its most popular routes; Bangkok (Don Mueang)-Yangon to 28 flights weekly starting 24 January and Bangkok (Don Mueang)-Siem Reap to 14 flights weekly starting 27 January. Thai AirAsia CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said the Mekong Region is important for the airline, which has enjoyed sustained high passenger growth.
