Self Censorship in Thai Visa

Featured Replies

What is Thai Visa afraid of? I realize there are certain things you can't talk about in Thailand, but Thai Visa is now closing forums that don't come near to mentioning topics of this type. It is also closing forums, of people trying to locate people. If someone is missing, what better place to try to find them than through Thai Visa? I can understand their concern where someone is trying to locate a forum participant who has stopped participating, but when a family or friend has lost contact with someone and they are concerned what is the harm of posting in TV?

we are not allowed to talk about this.....lock.gif.pagespeed.ce.HUpoQX69cx.gif

For missing persons you need to contact mods/admin first.

Rule 28) Not to post missing person posts except with the explicit approval of admin (email support[at]ThaiVisa.com).

There is a good reason for the rule 28) Not to post missing person posts except with the explicit approval of admin (email support[at]ThaiVisa.com). We can never be really sure of their motives for looking for someone plus it is a privacy issue also as the person may not want to be found.
