Fire engulfs a massage palour at Patpong

BANGKOK: -- A fire engulfed a massage parlour in a red light district of Patpong early Thursday morning but no one was injured. Damage is estimated to be about Bt5 million.

Police and firefighters were alerted at about 4.30am that the blaze took place at Plaza Massage Palour in Soi Patpong 2, Bangrak district.

Firefighters managed to put out the fire after about an hour.

The fire damaged rooms at the first three floor of the six-storey buildings. However no one was injured.

Police estimated the damage to be about Bt5 million.

With all those oils and lubricants around this could have been a very dangerous fire, indeed!
