pagallim Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Anybody know of a good stockist in Thailand? Looking for triathlon style in particular.
chiangmaiexpat Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Bought mine at Probike just 2 weeks ago. They had at least 40-50 pairs in the shop including large sizes. Cheers, CM-Expat
pagallim Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Not without irony, my LBS ordered my new bike from Probike last Monday, and it arrived on Wednesday. Never having had 'proper' bike shoes before, I wanted a good pair of shoes, and had already researched the Shimano triathlon range. Probike came back with 'no have' answer, and hence my post of this morning. However, I visited another bike shop in Phuket this morning, looking for a Specialized Phenom saddle (which they had). They also had a reasonable range of shoes, and I was particularly taken with a pair of Specialized S-works. Horrendous price, but got them because of the glove like feel that the fine cable adjustment gives. They also have SPD mounts which was another criteria. I just hope that they work as good as they look when I try them, possibly tomorrow.

ad61 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The name of the shop is "Beach Boy" shop and it is located on Patak Rd. (main road) in Kata, opposite to the Yamaha motorcycle dealer, a few hundred meter (on your left) before the Kata temple when you drive from Chalong.

Thanks for that AD, I was trying to remember the exact location details. Certainly, he carries quite a lot of diverse 'Specialized' stock. As an aside, I've now done probably a couple of thousand kilometres in these Specialized S-works shoes, and with no socks, not a single complaint or blister, they've been brilliant.
