ezzra
Rejoice foreigners, you're not the only one being ripped off by Thais, as it seems now Thais rip off other Thais providing motorcycle rides transport services to a blocked areas of Bkk, while actually enjoying unlimited free food at the protests sites,, now that's is rich... and those motorcycles guys see nothing wrong with that as one of the quipped: 'we turning crises into opportunity' yeah, opportunity to rip of your fellow country men.... namdocmai
If you go to any market in Thailand you will see that they don't make pricetags, also on markets where farang don't go. That's just to cheat eachother. And what about corruption? They cheat eachother all the time, that's their culture.

sam sen
its demand and supply; if people didnt use them the price would come down. as long as the price isnt too high i dont see the problem, these guys dont earn much. a lot of thais are too lazy to walk even a short distance, if they dont want to pay it will do them some good to get some excercise! And the same Police thinks its allright if the taxi-drivers won't use their metres when they have foreign tourists as customers.
