I'll be staying at a hotel near the Saphan Taksin BTS Station. I'm worried about the protesters. Any protesters nearby?

Even if there are, nothing to worry about. They're friendly so far.

At worst, you'll be in for a little bit of traffic. But most people won't even notice the difference since the traffic in Bangkok is monumentally obnoxious even on a good day.

I see nothing near the Thaksin BTS station, but they do wander around some.
