Popular Post wym
Might be too much to ask around here, but could we please keep the list to ones that are actually used here rather than the usual witty folderol, so that the thread is actually useful to the pitiful noobies. Links to canonical Internet listings for the non-TV-specific ones may be better than reinventing the wheel with LMAO, ROFL, <deleted> etc Since we're starting off with TV-specific, I'm claiming this is Thai-related, although I suppose it should be in the TV help forum - mod feel free to link it there. Who can tell me what is LOS? Why can you not speak in normal words? Why must you use acronyms? We use acronyms to save typing, and to make us feel like we're "in" superior to clueless noobs 8-) LoS = Land of Smiles (Thailand) TiT = This is Thailand (accept reality, love it or leave it, that's just the way it is) BiB = Boys in Brown (police) TAT = Tourist Authority of Thailand TOT = Telecom POV = point of view AFAIK, AFAIC = as far as I know/concerned SO = significant other, bedmate

nisakiman
SO = significant other, bedmate I've always used SOH = Significant Other Half Although I didn't think it was specifically Thai related - I'm sure it's fairly common currency across the English speaking world.
