Kevlar Jeans, replace after crash?

Featured Replies

Hi. I had a crash on my CBR 150 and slid along Petchburi Rd at about 60kmh. Thankfully my jacket and kevlar jeans meant only bruising. I ws wondering if the jeans should still be good to wear. They have no visible tears in the kevlar although the jeans have black slide marks.

Nah, they're goners.

What size do you wear I might give you a few baht for them tongue.png

Black slide marks make them more bad-ass. Good to hear nothing happened to you and well done for wearing gear!

i dont risk a second accident with the same jeans.

Kevlar is some tough shit and I'd have no compunctions about reusing the jeans.

As long as the jeans aren't torn, no stitching had broken and the kevlar panels haven't shifted, I don't see any issues. Like to see some photos of how well the gear stood up to the punishment :)

Edit: what brand jeans & jacket I meant to ask
