The government can't win, they have the "establishment" against them. They control the courts and the rule of law and they can bend it any way they wish. Those in the shadows are far more powerful than the ordinary man on the street or the government they elect.

It's going to end in a tears that’s for sure...

This is the question though can they win ? all the pieces are in play, all the subtle moves have been replaced with threats counter threats appeals for warrants and refusals to issue, there is so much of the establishment against but i suspect a large % are forced to go along with or face repercussions if they dont.

Those in the shadows are being named and shamed on a thousand social media sites right now, the cat is out the bag, the feeds and twitters are alight with the antics of those in the shadows. The Irony is everything is now upside down from what it could have been, the issue of corruption is being swept aside as the fundamental question asked is, why are some trying to force the majority to not have a vote ?

They use other sites, they have access to outside the countries media they have friends unafraid to speak as they reside outside the kingdom, the voices are many and there has never been a scandal like it, they control everything but the people and the voting process and are trying to control that now, clearly, blatantly and increasingly desperately.

Wouldnt it be crazy Thai if the ones who ends up being seen as the defenders of freedom to vote are the ones they are desperately trying to take down as criminals ? I think they have ruined their own playpen, possibly the armys too and they may well will rue the day they tried to silence the people.

Hahaha another slap in the face of Tarit and the useless DSI dogs! clap2.gif

Go do something useful and investigate the rice scam why don't you?

Spot On but I doubt Tarit will get the message from the court. He will continue to try and please his master and issues that should be investigated will be ignored if told to leave them alone or he decides it will look good for his loyalty to ignore.

I'm sure he will still tilt at windmills just to please.

PTP is finished, all the avenues are slowly being closed off. Bad news for Tarit, when they start rounding up the Thaksin crooks.

There is no law in Thailand- there is only judges. And it is obvious that the judges have no interest in applying the rule of law-

Rather they apply the power of the judge.

That should frighten everyone regardless of political sympathy.

The court said today that there is no clear evidence proving that the alleged protest leaders violated the Emergency Decree.

Er.. I thought if there was a gathering of more than 5 people, then that would violate the ED.

Is the Court suggesting that these protests involve less than 5 people?

Yes. Can't you see that the crowds are made up of individual groups of 4 people

And what about the Red Shirts Meetings? Following this edict, nearly every organization would end up being arrested - hey maybe that way we would end the unrest? And of course the mega corruption.

Have you written many other fairy stories? You should - this is really good fiction.

Maybe you could do a history re-write for the Shins. You know, how misunderstood, not wanting power, thrust into office by the peoples demand, fighting corruption with their transparent honest regime, and their shrewd business sense growing their wealth vastly at a time of economic global depression and weakening Thai economy. You may get recommended for a Pulitzer.

The lapdogs of the Court care not about the law, they will do whatever the Rich Elite order them to do,. If it had any thing to do with PM Yingluck they would hold the court date tomorrow!

Sick,very sick!

Keep believing that like the rest of the red brainwashed sheeple if it makes you feel better. ''It's all a big consspiracy against our dearly beloved fugitive leader and his puppets'

The rest of us will believe the truth that the court is doing it's job properly free of the influence of biased rich people with agendas.

The court is telling rather than suggesting that since the former governnment are now caretakers, they have no authority to declare the 'state of emergency' as has been previously ruled and hence the Draconian measures the SOE would allow are not currently in play as the initial declaration was unlawful, hence the gatherings of 5 people is still ok as we are not under an SOE. Try and keep up ;).
