wym
Valentine's Day is nothing to Thailand. You must not socialise with the younger generation then. It's actually become traditional for the teens to lose their cherry tonight, to the point that the conservative elders advocate a curfew, warn parents to watch out! geriatrickid
I am with my boyfriend today . I shall work while he observes. I have given up on bringing any female companionship to my abode as he insists that we are not to keep the door closed. Anyway, it doesn't make for a romantic evening as he insists on sitting on the bed and staring, It is very difficult to get amorous if I dare move my leg/headrest. I suppose, I'll take comfort at 5 am when I get a paw in the face.

It's actually become traditional for the teens to lose their cherry tonight, to the point that the conservative elders advocate a curfew, warn parents to watch out! Actually, this morning, (as I gave MissFarmGirl a modest box of chocolates and a card) I asked her about how the Thais view Valentines Day? She's in her 30's and means next to naught for her. I asked about her nieces and that was a different story, thus meaning, for the next generation of Thais there was a marked increase in significance. Now, I don't know if that is marketing, a slight Westernisation of Thai culture or a bit of both. I do remember being in Bangkok a few years ago and at the time, there was a 10 or 10.30pm curfew placed on the kids (what I read in the Newspaper) ... anyone remember this? . krisb
Not that my GF from 12 years, 2 children together, or myself would care Valentines day anyway, but to answer the question, I will be alone, as she looks for grassier Falang pastures for some days and will went today in another province to meet somebody from ThaiLoLi. My pastures are eaten up. Mate that sounds like a bummer. Hope things are ok out your way?
jackspade
So wait... OP, how exactly do I buy stock in Thai Friendly? As for me, this Valentines' Day—which I actually forgot about until someone mentioned it to me yesterday—I will be spending wonderfully, happily alone in bed, watching movies and drinking green tea, because I have one of the worst colds, replete with sore throat, runny nose, and all manner of body aches. I've had to turn down several very nice offers for in-house nursing care from the fairer sex, simply because I hate being around people when I'm sick. I just hate it. Jip99
I lost out to Buddha today. The missus is at the temple with family and will wander around with a candle for a few hours. I respect her culture and religion but, for me, time together comes before any 'culture' and certainly any religion. Mai bpen rai. In the scheme of things it is not hugely important. So, I shall enjoy a fantastic, authentic curry from Little India in Surin, washed down with a 850 Baht bottle of Rioja from Norbies. I do believe I have some strawberries and whipped cream in the fridge. I hope the missus enjoys her sticky fookin' rice.

But in short that is what is just now in this moment happening in a 5*hotel room a flight hour away from her place where I life. I even brought her to the from "HIM", sponsored flight. As his one was long delayed as she called me and told me, "action" is delayed to. She says she makes for us, so money flows possibly to her, which means less money has to be provided from my limited possibilities. The outcome? Psychological aftermath, mess? We, I will see soon, in some days. Edited February 14, 2014 by ALFREDO

peterb17
No not alone. Boyfriend up at six- off to the temple- so woke up to an apartment full of flowers and incense . Also roses and the dreaded Ferrero Rocher ( the bits of nut get stuck in your teeth) , but was a pleasant surprise. It's all good business - restaurants are packed- a bit more business for the locals is fine. Loles
<deleted> pitiful advertising is it ? And how much idiot ? So if you set up your falshoods to this crap page (which is bigger than thai hooker searching thailovelink) you won't be alone at Valentine day. And which Valnetine day? 2015, 2023 or 2045? Or is it so fast ? Enough half day and you get your high educated, fair skinned, off-course chink middle to high classed 21 yrs old girl. Really pitiful.
