Reporting on retirement

Featured Replies

I recently renewed/1yr extention for my retirement visa on Feb 3rd. My 90 day report day is Feb 17th. Do I need to report on the 17th or does the 90 day report start over again on Feb 3rd?

In most offices the 90 day report is seperate from the new extension. Unless they put a new slip with a new report date into your passport wnem you did your extension, you need to do your 90 days report on 17 Feb. There is a grace period of doing it 15 days early or up to 7 days late without a penalty fine, so you have all of next week to do it as today is a holiday!

Thanks mate.

Do you know what form needs to be filed?

Try to get next extension date and 90 day reports "in sync" (using grace periods).

Saves you a visit at immigration office.

(maybe you live close by, so not that big thing, but for me its a 200 km trip in total)
