norky Posted February 14, 2014 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Hi i was wondering if anyone know about Thai customs laws in regards to bringing in knives in your checked baggage (not carry on ) i'm wanting to bring in a small 9 inch Parang knife, but i'm not to sure if i'm allowed to or not. I've always carried a pocket knife (ever since I was a small school boy) and I am also a frequent biz traveller. I always toss my knife in my check baggage before my flights. I've also brought chefs knives into Thailand, two sets, each on a separate occasion, one as a present. No problem at Bangkok International airport.
