AbeSurd
Get a pick axe handle cut 5" off big end Sent from my GT-S5310B using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Yes, that might work. Not ideal as I suppose I'd then have to buy a saw or something similar, sandpaper etc. I have no tools. A lot of hassle! But if all else fails I may have to go this route. So, obvious question - where do I buy a pick axe in central Pattaya? Thanks.

ThaidDown
Just ask a songthaew driver where they got theirs. Some of them seem to be baseball fanatics, they even keep a bat in their cab at all times so that they can practise anywhere.
AbeSurd
Thanks everyone. I just needed a little help thinking laterally. Local hardware store had some suitably heavy chunks of wood - 120 baht. Got them to cut one piece to size - 5 baht. Sandpaper - 10 baht. Job done - 135 baht. craigt3365
I would think SuperSports in Central Festival would have them. If not maybe the store in the outlet mall on Suk and Thepprasit?

Turkleton
there is a vendor on the large Siam Country market, who sells them. Last time I was there, he had both, Aluminium and wood. He also has some other nice "toys". One could think, this vendor sells all the "basic stuff", the average Mafiosi / Jet Ski rental business owner / Taxi driver Baseball fan needs.... Donnie Brasco
Where can i get a swordstick Sent from my GT-S5310B using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Antique shops in Chatuchak stock a nice rosewood model 16" shank, for about 5000 Baht. But I definitely wouldn't if I were you. "Sometimes, 'fuggedabowdit' just means fuggedabowdit."
