Dollar seen as risky currency status alert
Not only that, but he seems to think that the current inflation in the US is because of Trump and his policies, when the destruction of the dollar's value dates back decades and decades. Today's consumer inflation in the USA is largely the result of huge inflows of cash into the economy during COVID and, following that, that wall of cash meeting shortages of many items because of supply chain constraints. So, pent up demand, lots of cash, and shortages of just about everything all created the high inflation. In any event, Trump is now calling for lower interest rates and a lower dollar, both of which would result in even more inflation, but all that is yet to come. Of course, there has been some blowback about the tariffs and that has weakened the dollar somewhat, but that's temporary and probably not structural, long term. -

FDA Review and Approval: After successful clinical trials, manufacturers submit a Biologics License Application (BLA) to the FDA, providing comprehensive data on safety, efficacy, manufacturing processes, and labeling. The FDA thoroughly reviews this information before granting approval . Post-Licensing Monitoring Even after a vaccine is approved, monitoring continues through systems like: Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS): Collects and analyzes reports of adverse events that occur after vaccination. Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD): A collaboration between the CDC and healthcare organizations to monitor vaccine safety and conduct studies about rare and serious adverse events. Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment (CISA) Project: Conducts clinical research on vaccine-associated health risks . These systems ensure ongoing evaluation of vaccine safety and effectiveness in the general population. The U.S. has a comprehensive and stringent process for vaccine safety testing before and after licensing. Claims suggesting the absence of pre-licensing safety testing are unfounded and contradict the established procedures upheld by the FDA and CDC. -
