My employer's address is in my work permit as my home address and now I'm going to apply for a driving licence. I believe if I have a work permit I don't need to supply any further proof of address. So do I need to have my work permit amended to show my home address?

If you want your home address on your driving license then yes you will need to ammend it, else your license will have your work address.

Seems pricey. I'm not really bothered whether my home address or work address goes on the driving licence. I take it there would be no issue with putting the work address on the driving licence.

It was free in KKC. Agree that it isn't complicated.

Check towards the rear of the WP. That's where you put your address. The employers address is normally in the book because it's where you work.

I don't think your address in the book is really a priority for the Labor Office.

Your home address is at the top of page 4 in the Blue WP4 Booklet and the company/work address is on page 7.

In my area changes are annotated in situ with the exact change details then being noted in full towards the rear.

When I got my license and used WP they did not write anything on the backside.

I had one issued last month in Pattaya and they have used the Head Office address of my company in Bangkok. Don't forget your tax ID!

Another body whose WP and DL are the same - was the easy option.

It has basic I goon it ei...DOB, name, passport number and expiry
