I heard there is a 4 time limit you can cross over from thailand to burma over land. Is this true? If so what happens when you attempt the 5th time?

You might only get a 7 day entry to give you time to leave the country.

But the 4 day limit does not apply to all crossings to Myanmar. Only Mai Sai and Mae Sot as far as I know have the limit.
