All Thai limited companies need 7 shareholdes and the majority need to be Thai. This law is very old. You really need to read this forum as this topic has been covered many times.

first post ! but it might get some response-went to cha am land office on friday morn with bank rep to register my company name for buying a town house in cha am was told new regulation which states canot have falang on company books for the purchase of townhouse-my lawyer isn huahin is waiting to see where this goes-was told unlucky if you had come yesterday would of been ok--whoopeeee not posted a thread yet was waiting for somebody elsle to state the same !!! but still waiting---maybe somebody at thai visa can redirect this thread as it may have some serious repacutions for many---i believe set up 15may then iplemented 26may ! was told i was the 1st person to happen to, this was 9.30am and i can tell you i was not a happy chappy
