Commenting on a incident last week in Phayao province where some 8,000 volunteers known as village police staged a parade carrying red flags which was attended by several Pheu Thai party members, General Prayuth said he had ordered an investigation into the incident and warned authorities concerned not to allow such a parade to be repeated.

Is this the beginning of the red army?

Actually, Suthep's proposal and the philosophy behind the PDRC, is to "exclude" the majority north, eastern, and muslim Thais. Therefore, forming an "elite" state government that ignores the majority of ordinary Thais.

The police trailing Yingluck have award winning mid sections - too much crispy pork and sticky rice.

The Army stood by as Suthep's protesters raped Bangkok, now they want action against a Red Shirt group because they miss interpret what the initials stand for, definitely not equal treatment under the law!

Yingluck is simply suggesting for the Army to address the Red shirts the same as they did Suthip's idiots!

Cheers

Has it ever occurred to your miniscule grey mass that actually the majority of protesters were/are Bangkokians? Of course not, that's very difficult for you to grasp. And this parade in Phayao shouldn't be ignored. If anyone wanted to see the parade resembling the National Socialist parades from 1930's this is the one.

Scotland is going to have a referendum nothing wrong with that but a province trying to break away not quite the same. However Thailand cannot be divided into 2 but 4 is a possible outcome not till the light has gone out and the hand that will lift her is seen and loved like before. This govt allows an idiot called Suthep to terrorize and destroy this country far more that the outcome of a separation. Wars come and go but a humpty dumpty should be allowed to fall and just let the idiot roll away.

Raped? Idiots? Middle class sacrificing a day's work to take to the roads as a statement against graft and nepotism? You have absolutely no credibility, outside of the inner groups of liege lords.

Go back to the red rouge siege several years back (before you arrived in 2013). Be a good boy, and just watch all the video on youtube of bangkok on fire, looting, red bombs, black shirts. There you'll see the evidence of applicable people who fit the terms you used above.

How many factions have the red secessionists got?

More importantly, how many yellows/Dems/PDRC factions support the removal of the monarchy they so cherish and adore???

Treat every faction that supports secession fairly - OK in my book Yingluck, first time I actually agree with you on anything!!!!

If anyone has instigated secession then prosecute them and leave no stone unturned - the Thai ROYAL army should ensure this!!!

The Thai ROYAL police should also, but won't!!
