How long does the bus/van take?

Can't help with the Southern Bus terminal, but I went to Ekamai yesterday and it was about 2 hours.

Sai Tai Mai normally has that route every hour and depending on traffic it take around 2.5 hrs.

I've taken the big bus from Ekkamai (took about four hours as the driver kept stopping to pick up/let off passengers) and the mini bus from BTS Victory Monument which took about an hour and a half if I remember correctly with relatively few stops. I think the mini bus from VM costs Baht 99, one way, and will drop you off anywhere in Pattaya. I can't remember if it leaves every 30 or 60 minutes.
