Drugstore & high-street stores in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi! I am planning to go to Bangkok in the near future,

one of the things that I want to check out is their famous BB Creams, SPFs and other make-up products

Can anyone recommend a non high-end highstreet/drugstore brand that is widely available in Bangkok? Not necessarily the address but the name, any kind of details where I could find this kind of products etc. :)
Thanks so much!

maybe try asking the women?

Aren't any here? :)

very few real ones, more pretenders I think - head for the women's forum.

I assume you're looking for stuff more high-end than Boots and Watson's?

I am looking for Boots/Superdrug alternative in Bangkok:) Non high-end products

Robinsons is your best bet, usually ground floor amongst Clarins estee lauder etc.

Boots and Watson's all over the place, how could you miss them?

Thais consider that high-end, you want really cheap go to Big C, Tesco or Makro.

ALso lots of neighborhood shophouses sell nothing but, great bargains especially bulk, can buy three months' of shampoo for B100.

There is boots and bodyshop. I use both to keep myself looking hansum in this harsh city.

Watch out if you buy local brands, read the label carefully because a lot will contain whitener.

PS. face creams, scrubs, etc, cost about double what you pay in a UK boots store. The exact same products, brands, etc. Eg a branded facial exfoliator is about 250 baht in the UK, 500 baht here.

Go to any Central shopping mall. High quality stuff in the Central department store. It's huge too. Expensive stuff tho, so bring plenty of bahts.

silom rd has a normal/ budget pharmacy every 3 doors down and its close to all the big shopping malls if you feel like

spending more on higher range brands
