Dead Squat bar/Trap bar Thailand

Featured Replies

Good folks of Thaivisa

I am looking for some info regarding the dead squat bar which is an altered version of the trap bar used in weightlifting if its available in Thailand or if it is possible to have it made by some people who have the equipment to manufacture such things.

Thank you in advance

Yes, hundreds of little metalwork/engineering shophouses in many areas around the kingdom, both the steel and the labor are very cheap here but probably only if you speak Thai.

Best if you present them with detailed specs & drawings, or even better a sample to copy, but some guys will work from a rough sketch, help you work out the details.

I was originally going to learn to do it myself but quickly figured out it would take ten full-time years for the cost savings to justify buying the equipment.

If you live near BKK CBD, especially south of Sathorn I'll point you to the exact neighborhoods.

And there was me (and hundreds of others) thinking this was going to be a new level of drunken licentiousness I could descend to sad.png

yes, catchy name for a dive bar, "The Dead Squat Bartrap"
