Is there someone here who knows a place where I can get a car part (high quality) silver plated anywhere around Bangkok. Google gets me nowhere.

The silver district is along Charoen Krung north of Sathorn, ask in the shops and assayers there.

I have a question Why silver? Wouldn't the original have been chrome? or maybe possibly nickel? That is easier and more industrial. If is to be used as an ornament OK>.

There are many classic/vintage car clubs in Thailand one of those maybe a start.

Thanks for the tips....Yes it is a Vintage car being restored in Sri Lanka to be kept as a collectors car and for use in the film industry. The plating must last longer than six months.
