Burning Plastic in the Air

Featured Replies

Coming from Bagna Trad towards Ramkhamhaeng Road using the Eastern Outer Ring Road, I could not help but notice huge black clouds of smoke. This is about three kilometers before where one has to pay. Even the taxi driver slowed down to take a look. Basically, he said the fire was big.

The smell of burning plastic has now drifted towards Moobaan Sammakorn.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?

There's a 100 rai rubbish dump on fire and the area has been declared a disaster area.

Last night woke up smelling burning went outside real electrically plastic type smell about 2am. Srinakarin area.

Dunno if its the same thing.

Aircon was pumping in the fumes so had to turn it off.

If anyone had read the OP they would have realized that there are TWO sites burning.

Which are where? The OP doesn't say.

Common sense says that the one in Samut Prakarn is far from what the Op posted.

A 100 rai fire anywhere seems big to me. But perhaps someone (with common sense) can identify a second fire, or not!

Who knows what sort of nasty stuff is in that smoke.

Exactly, I'd definitely be getting out of dodge until things blew over.
