On Wednesday Morning the Manager of a soon-to-reopen Karaoke Bar arrived at the venue and found that audio equipment worth an estimated 300,000 Baht had been stolen.

Police were called to the Honeymoon Karaoke and Pub on Pattaya Third Road and met with the owner, Khun Jantira aged 25 and the venues Manager Khun Sunee aged 41.

The venue had been closed on 8th March due to poor trading which they claimed was due to the recent political unrest in Thailand. They had planned to re-open the business at the weekend

Yeah, I can understand how the political unrest in Thailand could affect their business! It should be all over by the weekend, so open up again!

A monkey could have removed that padlock.

What a joke the security.

Why did the manager even bother to secure the padlock ?

Did the manager think that padlock would protect the 300,000 baht equipment ? Pathetic !

How much does any-one want to bet me they are fully insured for the "missing" equipment! Or am i being too cynical.

If they were insured, which I doubt, the insurance would not pay out with a padlock like that to secure the premises.

So So pathetic this.
