TexasRanger
I have a shoulder injury that's been bothering me for a while and I now have time to get it checked. Any recommendations in the Pattaya area would be appreciated. My usual hospital is BHP but open to options I.e. specialist clinics etc. Cheers. TexasRanger
I strongly advise a trip to Bangkok. Dr. Mason at Bumrungrad. I appreciate the advice but I'd rather someone more local in case it requires ongoing treatment.
Sheryl
I run into this problem a lot with people from Pattaya. The quality of care there is simply not at all on par with Bangkok, with a few exceptions, and I can't begin to list the number of cases where people had cause to very seriously regret not having gone to Bkk. But suit yourself.
rucus7
I strongly advise a trip to Bangkok. Dr. Mason at Bumrungrad. I live in Rayong. Dr Mason will be preforming surgery on me Tuesday the 8th. I have been seeing him for several months. He has not pushed me towards surgery at all. In fact we waited 6 weeks prior to an MRI. To allow time for healing. MRI disclosed partial tear in rotator cuff due impingement syndrome( bone spurs) At that point he recommended a one time cortisone shot and anti-inflammatory medication. One month later, without improvement I decided on surgery. He told me I could continue with my rehabilitation attempt via exercise it was up to me. I asked if the bone spurs would improve via exercise. His feeling was they would not. The long and short of this is , I agree with Sheryl. It is definitely worth a trip to Bangkok. Good luck. edit SP. Edited April 3, 2014 by rucus7
