udon has a few pool places , one is a fibreglass pool shop ,gets its gear from Oz ....couple of others but concrete ... the pool gear, filter , pump, salt chlorinator , light etc is a big part of the cost ,if you want quality anyway ... that will account for 90k ...

Does anyone in Thailand do shotcrete? Concrete shot from a gun on a hose under pressure and then troweled smooth? It's fast and cheap, and the combination of shooting under pressure and troweling eliminates voids and compacts it and it's strong. You can always put a blue color in the concrete.

There are tons of things you can do with shotcrete and a trowel including building a house.

Yes you're right.
Shotcrete would be a fast and effective way to construct a pool.
Problem is, other than the large construction companies who specialise in tunnel/dam/hydro construction or slope stabilisation there are no small contractors )to my knowledge) with the correct 'wet shotcrete' equipment who undertake small projects.
Clearly you have experience in an environment were the QC process of using the right admixtures/additives and shotcrete placement are monitored.
From experience poor compaction and spray technique will cause honey combing and voids.
Maybe there's a business opportunity here???
