Ugly tangles of power and telephone cables are a common sight all over Thailand.

PHUKET: -- The ongoing plan to tidy up Phuket’s electricity and telephone cables and the island’s streets has been kicked into action again, following a meeting on Tuesday (April 8).

BANGKOK: -- A senior monk supervising the Chaeng Wattana rally site on Friday filed a complaint with two police stations against a redshirt leader for allegedly insulting the monarchy.

Security in the Deep South of Thailand



This is to alert U.S. citizens of a recent rise of violence in the deep south of Thailand in the border provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani, and Yala. Last month, at least 50 violent incidents killed over 30 people and injured almost 40 others. There is the possibility that foreigners, including westerners, may be targeted in this region.
