thankuverybig Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 hello,i have a family member whos interested in importing a vigo into the uk. i would rather handle the shipping myself as i have been quoted already. the problem is to get the de-registration needed for exporting a vehicle. ive phoned toyota thailand,& japan,but toyota japan just told me that that they cannot provide these papers as the spec is different than the uk. it just seems odd, if you buy a vigo here & own it for say 2 months & then decide to go back to the uk.are they saying that you cant take it home with you. how do these export companies export vigos?
