KhunBENQ
I seen the article already, but does it answer my questions? I googled through many websites/images (also on Thai sites), but no clear indication of female officers carrying weapons. apetley
Wifey used to work at the local police station. The lady officers there are mostly armed and like the men have to buy their own weapons.

chrisinth
As a matter of interest OP, why would they not? If the girls are doing the same job as the boys, they should have the same toys.................... Or is there some deeper issue with them being women?.............. In my previous life, I knew several women (granted, not Thai) that through their job carried weapons, and there wasn't one of them I wouldn't want having my back.
