Thailand Visa Application Sample

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am Razib from Bangladesh. I am interested to visit Thailand next month. I have already prepared all the documents I need to apply for tourist visa.

I am going to bear all the cost of my self. Other day I contacted with our local Thai Visa Office. After checking all my documents they told me to write and application.

Thailand Visa Application addressing to visa officer!!!

I have no idea what should i write in the application. Some one please let me know if there is any example/sample of this kinda application. Or what should I mention there ?

Ask the people at the office to help you .

Use the visa application form provided by the Thai embassy or consulate where you apply for the visa.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Thanks for your reply. Thai Visa Application form is just not enough for my country maybe. So they asked to write a letter addressing to visa officer.

I don't know what should I write in the application letter. So I am looking for a sample letter, that I can follow.

I've never seen such a letter. It sounds like they want you to write a formal letter to the visa officer requesting that they issue you a visa in addition to the normal application process.

I would write the letter requesting that they isssue you a visa and include all of the details of your propsed trip:

Include things like:

1. The reason why you are travelling to Thailnd.

2. Where you will be going/staying

3. How will you be paying for your expenses while in Thailand.

4. Your transportation arrangements

Just make it sound nice and include as much information as possible. It sounds like they want you to "bend over" for them, but what other choice do you have?

Or, as some will suggest, you can print out their website information and go scream and yell at them and tell them that the letter is not required and end up spending your vacation where you are, in Bangladesh!

The website says:" Visa request letter from the applicant", but doesn't really give any details so I guess it's best to contact them. as recommeded in post #2, and find out exactly what they want the letter to contain..
