I did some searching but couldn't find an answer in the jungle of questions and answers.

Simple question I think:

1. can I open a foreign currency account when I have a non-emigrant visa O (married, not retired and no work permit)

2. which bank can be recommended?

The account shall only be used for sending amounts of money with a minimum of Euro 10.000 (500.000 Baht).

HSBC offer FCY accounts but sending money out of the country is governed by Bank of thailand rules on amounts!!
